We are committed to the continual pursuit of excellence.  Our intention is to provide an optimal and individualized treatment plan based on current

with compassion and attempt to make our patients experience both comfortable and convenient. (Read entire
Mission Statement )
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are dental specialists who treat conditions, defects, injuries, and esthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face.

Oral and maxillofacial surgeons care for patients who experience such conditions as problem wisdom teeth, facial pain, and misaligned jaws. They treat
accident victims suffering facial injuries, offer reconstructive and dental implant surgery, and care for patients with tumors and cysts of the jaws and
functional and esthetic conditions of the maxillofacial areas.

With specialized knowledge in pain control and advanced training in anesthesia, the oral and maxillofacial surgeon is able to provide quality care with
maximum patient comfort and safety in the office setting.

KNOWLEDGE
IS
POWER!!!
SAOMSA is proud to announce it's newest venture into the technology age.

Beam Computed Topography (CBCT)

or a CT Scanner as it is more widely recognized.
The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) has created a new public website for patients interested

in learning more about oral and maxillofacial surgery.  The website features an interactive home page to help patients pinpoint the

area of the head or neck for which they are looking to find helpful information about their particular condition and possible treatment.

Once patients click on a treatment they are linked to an informative page that uses photos, illustrations, and /or videos along with a

written synopsis about the causes, diagnostic tools and available treatments for each condition.  Additionally patients can download

a full-color, printable brochure from each informative page.

In the future, AAOMS hopes to include additional videos and graphics, as well as patient testimonials and other educational materials to help patients learn
more about oral and maxillofacial surgery. Try out AAOMS's new public website by clicking on the link below:
